PriorityVet LLC is the first and only after-hours urgent care facility for dogs and cats in Toms River. Pets are largely treated on an out-patient basis with short-term admission for diagnostics and minor anesthetic procedures (lacerations, urethral obstruction, splinting, etc). Pets requiring prolonged anesthesia, major emergency surgery, hospitalization or overnight care are referred to a 24-hour care facility following any necessary emergent interventions. The facility is well-equipped with full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, BP, Tonopen, pulse oximetry, fluid pumps, Isoflurane and cloud-based practice software.
Work Location: One location
Business hours: 4pm to 12am FRI.-MON. and 6pm to 12am TUES.-THURS. excluding major holidays.
Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings are currently available.

We are looking for Veterinary Receptionist / Assistants (Client Care Representatives) to help provide great first impressions, exemplary customer service and compassion in an animal healthcare practice. The right candidate will join a team of committed professionals determined to create an exceptional veterinary visit. Animal experience is preferred. However, a positive attitude and teamwork is a must. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to foster and promote the practice vision and values.
• Answer phones promptly and place calls professionally
• Introduce the practice, yourself, and offer assistance
• Transfer calls to appropriate staff members as necessary
• Ensure a prompt but safe and comfortable arrival at the practice
• Greet clients upon arrival making them feel welcome and at ease
• Be reassuring and patient
• Be willing to help (and comfort) clients and their pets
• Escort clients and patients into examination rooms
• Assist veterinarian and veterinary technician when necessary
• Process payments and facilitate patient discharge
• Clean and maintain treatment area, lab area and patient housing
• Assist in daily opening and closing procedures
• Forward patient information to appropriate parties
• Embrace and maintain the spirit of excellence for the practice and patient care.

No clients are allowed in our facility with their pets except under special circumstance. PPE is provided for all staff.
